Joey Sutton, proprietor of a hip new expansion gallery on Royal Street, and Sean Rich, a respected archeologist and consultant for The History Channel, have officially teamed up for a most unique collaboration. By channeling their collective passion for history and adventure into a brand new French Quarter location, history lovers everywhere have even more reason to seek out VINTAGE 329.
Located on world-famous Royal Street, the gallery serves as the exclusive representative for Rich’s private collection of antique weaponry. A master antique gunsmith, arms and armor expert, Sean Rich is the CEO of Tortuga Trading, a collection of his rare treasure finds from around the world. Rich’s adventures take him to every corner of the globe in search of sunken treasures and buried artifacts. Now, Rich’s most precious finds are available in New Orleans exclusively at VINTAGE 329.
Sean Rich may be familiar to some as the weapons expert on The History Channel’s popular show, “Pawn Stars.” Rich’s knowledge and expertise have also made him a highly sought-after consultant on movie productions like the Disney Channel’s Pirates of the Caribbean films. “Like VINTAGE 329, the Big Easy has its own unique history with secret treasures that are just waiting to be discovered. A journey through VINTAGE 329 is an adventure back in time,” explains Sean Rich.
“We are proud of our association with such a well respected expert in the field. Each one of Sean Rich’s finds are special, one-of-a-kind pieces that have been carefully analyzed, preserved and documented,” said Joey Sutton. “An archeologist by trade, Sean’s passion for adventure resembles that of the modern-day American action hero, Indiana Jones,” explains Lois Sutton, co-owner of VINTAGE 329.
For more than a century, the Sutton name has been synonymous with quality retail offerings in the Gulf South Region. VINTAGE 329 specializes in autograph memorabilia, rare books & maps and antique weaponry.
